Carlton Tower Hotel Dubai, Dubai

The hotel's location is perfect, near the old city and accessible to transportation across Dubai Creek. While the rooms need some maintenance and had a strong paint smell due to nearby works, the friendly service staff made up for some unfriendliness experienced. The dining options were disappointing, but the price was reasonable given the central downtown location.

My stay at the hotel started off great, but unfortunately, it took a turn for the worse when I encountered loud and unhygienic rooms with unaddressed cockroach issues. The cancellation despite prior arrangements was a major inconvenience.

Upon arrival, the room was not as spacious as expected from the online photos, though it had a better smell than anticipated. The hotel's location was excellent with easy access to transportation and attractions along the Dubai Creek. The dining experience was below average with limited choices and not warm coffee. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel was near the business district and had a relaxing atmosphere.

I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. The rooms were very dark at first but turned out to be comfortable and pleasant, offering amazing views of the Burj Khalifa at night when all the buildings were illuminated. Unfortunately, my reservation was canceled upon arrival despite notifying the hotel in advance.

Staying at the hotel was a great experience. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, offering amazing views of the lit-up buildings with the Burj Khalifa in the background. The service, especially from Mr Salah at the reception, was exceptional. The location, while good for business travelers and opposite the creek, could use some upgrades. The dining options were average without exceeding expectations, but overall, it was a pleasant stay at Carlton Towers.
